We are a team of six local women spearheading hands-on projects to beautify pedestrian corridors with plants, lights and meditative benches riverfront – plus more. Every small enhancement honors Petaluma’s architectural heritage while creating an inviting civic core for everyone.
Every project begins with a simple idea from our community, brought to life through hands-on volunteer craftsmanship and local partnership.

Our vision is a more beautiful Petaluma. Our projects enhance the character and attractiveness of our city, especially in our historic Downtown, adding beauty and amenities that bring joy and pride to daily life. We envision Petaluma as an even more charming and vibrant place for all.
Mission
The mission of Beautify Petaluma is to improve our city’s shared outdoor spaces through community-driven, small-scale projects, particularly in our walkable, historic Downtown. Our work enhances daily life for residents and draws visitors to our destination city. Beautify Petaluma delivers projects with community partners who share our vision, sense of civic pride, and commitment to local stewardship.
